When I first heard that US superstar Jennifer Lopez had joined forces with Inglot to create a stunning 70-piece collection I knew this was a collection I did not want to miss out on.
The highly anticipated collection launched on April 26th and included eye shadows, blushers, highlighters and lipsticks to name but a few.
In the run up to the launch there were snippets and sneak peaks of the collection, which only led to the already huge anticipation and excitement from fans worldwide. Products in this collection range from €8 to €24. You can see the full collection on Inglot.ie.
I picked up a few items from the collection, how could I not?! I got four eyeshadows, four pigments, a lipstick and a lip gloss.
They looked fabulous and it’s my first time trying all of these products. I’ve always admired their pigments and eyeshadows but never tried any until now.
The eyeshadows I got are Crimson, Pumpkin, Walnut and Eggplant and the pigments I got are Blazing Rose, Cosmic Glow and Ethereal.
Both the shadows and pigments benefit from a primer or Duraline. In the below photo I swatched the pigments side by side.
On the left they are swatched without any Duraline and on the right they are swatched with Duraline. You can see there is quite a difference between both. I used a MAC 239 to swatch them.
The lipstick I got is Besame and its a pinky-red. It’d be beautiful with a tan and minimal eye makeup because it’s such a strong colour.
The lip gloss is Soft Rose which is a nude colour with a gorgeous scent that isn’t sticky or gloopy.
Overall, I really love everything and couldn’t be happier with everything I purchased from the collection.
I have a hankering to pick up the pigment in Celestial, the eyeshadow in Olive and a matte lipstick.
I really don’t need more make-up but the temptation to get some more bits from this collection is strong.
