In April of this year Marc Jacobs launched their ‘Marc Jacobs Coconut Fantasy’ Collection which sold out almost immediately upon its release.
This is a five-piece, limited-edition collection includes a setting powder, O! Mega bronzer, Eye-Conic Eye palette, Dew Drops and a bronzer brush with a white handle and silver accents.
I managed to get my hands on three of the items from the collection; the bronzer, eye palette and dew drops.
I had seen Sharon Farrell talk about the Coconut Bronzer in her 2017 Best of Beauty video and she mentioned it was great for pale skin. As soon as I heard that I knew this was one item I really wanted to get. I have full trust in Sharon’s recommendations.
It was very hard to get a gold of though. It was the one item that was on everyone wanted and as soon as it went on sale it sold out. The bronzer is beautiful. It’s a finely milled powder that it is a dream to work with. It blends effortlessly.
I had seen some posts about the bronzer in last years collection which said it was great for contouring especially on pale skin, so maybe it is slightly different in colour/tone to this years as I find this bronzer to be warm, which isn’t the best for contouring.
I have tried this one for contouring and bronzing and it works much better as an all over bronzer than a contour shade.
The packaging is absolutely gorgeous too. Slimline, lightweight, compact and with rose gold accents. I love everything about it. It is minimalist and chic.
The Eye-Conic eye palette has that same beautiful, dreamy formula that blends oh-so-smoothly for a seamless, blended effect.
They are long-lasting, they don’t fade or crease and they have excellent pigmentation and therefore it doesn’t take much to create an intense eye with them.
They are some of the best eye shadows I have ever used and they definitely won’t be the last eye shadows I try from Marc Jacobs.
I love the shade range too, you can create a day or night-time look with them. I haven’t experienced fall out or much kickback in the pan from them either.
Again, the packaging I love. It’s exactly the same as the bronzer. Both the palette and bronzer have mirror too, which is very handy if you wanted to bring them on holidays or for a night away etc.
The Dew Drops are absolutely gorgeous. They are golden in colour and very illuminating.
When I first saw them in reality I thought they may be too dark for me however they’re actually quite a bit lighter when blended into my skin. They look much darker in the bottle.
When I apply these they don’t feel heavy, sticky or tacky, they just feel creamy, almost like I’d applied a moisturiser.
Any foundation I have used has applied well over them. No matter what foundation I have used I’ve never had any issues with application, blending, longevity or performance.

These products, as the name would suggest, smell like coconut. It is gorgeous. It’s not strong or overpowering and once you blend the products out the smell dissipates.
Coconut isn’t a scent I would usually be a fan of. Often I find it sweet and sickly. These products don’t have that sickly, almost overpowering scent though, they smell incredible.
Products from this collection are available from Marc Jacobs, Marc Jacobs Beauty, Sephora, Sephora.fr, Neiman Marcus and Net-a-Porter.
There is also a limited-edition vault collection available from Marc Jacobs Beauty, which includes the bronzer, eye palette and setting powder from this collection along with their Coconut Face Primer which is permanent.
Marc Jacobs Beauty is not available in Ireland at the moment. However, in October of this year, they will be launching in Harvey Nichols, which is very exciting.
Thank you for reading and until next time, take care xx 😊
