Bobbi’s Hydrating Eye Cream is my holy-grail eye cream so I hoped that this would be just as good, if not better.
It’s not as good and definitely not better, but it is still a great cream. It’s not as hydrating as their hydrating cream, however it does offer some hydration. It is ever-so-slightly heavy feeling until it absorbs, but once it has absorbed, my eye area feels nice.
It has a perfumed scent which I’m not the biggest fan of. I mean, it’s not a bad scent, but it’s one of those strong scents that lingers for a while after application.
It works well under makeup and doesn’t cause any application or performance issues. I haven’t experienced any negative reactions to this cream either.
Their Hydrating Eye Cream offers much more hydration and it doesn’t have that strong, perfumed scent. It absorbs quite quickly, and just like this cream, it works well under makeup and doesn’t cause any application or performance issues.
While I like it I wouldn’t buy a full size. It’s £48.00 / € 56.00, which is prohibitively expensive and I don’t like it enough to splurge that much on it to be honest.
If you don’t need much in the way of hydration and luxury skincare is your preference, then this is a cream worth checking out, but for me I need hydration – and plenty of it and this cream just doesn’t offer the hydration that my skin needs, but if it did then I would strongly consider purchasing a full size.
