NARS Sheer Glow Foundation. A cult favourite among many and with good reason too. This foundation I have been wanting to try for a long time but because it is so expensive I never did until this year.
During one of ASOS 20% promotions I ordered this and by paying in sterling it worked out at just under €30. In Brown Thomas and Arnotts this foundation costs €43.
I got the shade Deauville which is a perfect match for me. I have been using this since I got it and it has become one of my favourite base products.
I can get sheer, medium or full coverage from it. It looks beautiful on my skin. It’s glowy but doesn’t look shiny or oily. It’s long wearing and it blends out beautifully. Any products I apply over it, go on nicely too. Even when set this doesn’t lose its glow.
My only gripe is that there no pump with it and for a foundation that costs €43 a pump should be included in my opinion.
Pumps are my personal preference for foundations. They are more hygienic but it’s also easier to measure out exactly how much you need each time rather than pouring it out when you could pour too much and end up wasting product.
I did buy a pump for it from Look Fantastic for €3.95 so it’s not exactly expensive but if I was splashing out €43 for a foundation I wouldn’t fancy having to spend extra just for a pump. If you want to purchase this you can get it from ASOS £33 (full price).
