Hey guys, I have another empties for you today. I am on a serious mission to use up as much as I can this year, can you tell!? 😂 I have so many half-used products and I really just want to use them up so I can declutter them and try new products. I hate having so many opened products when I’ve quite a few new ones I would like to try soon, so I’m working my way through them at speed. 😂
I hate having so many partially used products and some of them I’m really not keen on, but I don’t want to waste them, and there’s nothing wrong with the products themselves, it’s just that there are others I prefer really.
Fragrance
Giorgio Armani Code for Women Eau De Parfum — This is a stunning fragrance and one I am sad to have finished. It is a musky, woody scent that is perfect for an evening out. A few times I spritzed it on my scarf and a few days later I could still smell it, even though it faded very slightly, it was still noticeable. I would absolutely repurchase this, I need to finish some of my current fragrances first before I buy more though.
Miu Miu Eau de Parfum — I’ll cut to the chase with this – I didn’t like it whatsoever. It smells like scented bleach. It’s supposed to be fresh and floral, however it is anything but those. It doesn’t last any length of time on clothing or skin. Within an hour it disappeared, both on myself and my mam. Not a fan and wouldn’t recommend. It’s $125 for a full size and for that money there are other, nice, better lasting perfumes that are nicer and worth a splurge.
Tory Burch Jolie Fleur Bleue Eau De Parfum — This is a gorgeous fragrance. It’s fresh, floral and citrusy. It’s strong so only a spritz or two is needed per wear. It’s long lasting both on the skin and garments. I would consider purchasing a full size of this.
Victoria Beckham Intimately Beckham Eau de Toilette — This is a perfume I have worn for years and to this day I still love it. It’s a gorgeous scent, however I have others I wear more regularly and prefer so for that reason I wouldn’t repurchase this.
Haircare
Phyto Phytokeratine Repairing Thermal Protectant Spray* — This is without a doubt my absolute favourite heat protectant. This stuff is amazing. My hair feels so shiny, silky, nourished and soft when I use these. Even when I am not blow drying my hair I use this because of how it makes my hair feel. I’ve already repurchased it. I can’t be without it.
Makeup
Marc Jacobs O!Mega Lash Volumizing Mascara (not pictured) — This is a gorgeous mascara that separates, lengthens and volumises my lashes. It has a really nice formula that isn’t too wet or too dry, it’s just right for me personally. It doesn’t flake, smudge or budge. Once it’s on, it stays put. It’s not amazing or anything, but it is quite nice. It’s $26 full price, which I don’t think I’d pay. I mean, I like the mascara a lot, I just don’t think it is warrants a $26 price tag.
Skincare
Bite Beauty Agave Lip Mask — This is a really lovely and mosturising lip mask, although I use it as a balm too. It feels gorgeous on and although it is a thick formula, it softens and melts with the warmth of your fingers and lips. I’m currently using my backup, but I will definitely be repurchasing this. It’s $26 and worth every cent and more.
By Terry Baume De Rose — This is a gorgeous lip balm. It’s creamy, mosturising, long lasting, smells nice and feels lovely on, but it is incredibly expensive for what it is and for that reason I wouldn’t purchase a full size of it. It’s £39 for a full size which is pretty pricey for lip balm, it really gorgeous, but I don’t think it warrants that price to be very honest. There are other balms that are just as good for a lot less.
Clinique All About Eyes Rich Eye Cream — This is probably my most repurchased eye cream. It’s one of the very best, especially for dry skin. It’s rich, hydrating, moisturising, absorbs quickly, isn’t sticky or tacky and makeup applies beautifully over it. I’ve used it for years and will continue to use it. I’ll definitely repurchase this at some point, but for now I have a few others to use up, but once they are, I’ll be going back to this or my Decléor Aroma Lisse (full review of Decléor here).
Dr. Jart+ Ceramidin Lipair — Another gorgeous balm but in stick form this time. Hydrating, moisturising, non-greasy/sticky/gloopy and it feels nice on my lips too. I’d definitely repurchase this.
La Roche-Posay Nutritic Moisturising Lip Balm — I’m not a fan of this at all. It did nothing for my lips. It’s supposed to be a nourishing balm for dry and sensitive lips that restores and hydrates dry cracked lips. It did nothing for my lips. Nothing at all. When I applied it, it seemed to disappear within a few minutes. I wouldn’t repurchase this.
The Ordinary 100% Organic Cold-Pressed Rose Hip Seed Oil — I’ve had this for months and have only just managed to finish it. I really liked it and found it helped my skin with regards to brightening my and evening my complexion. I found it absorbed quickly and didn’t feel greasy or oily and didn’t leave a film on my skin. It’s very affordable too. Full review here. I’d consider repurchasing this.
