Happy New Year! 🥳 I hope you all had a fabulous Christmas and NYE. I hope this new year (and decade) is everything you wish for and more. It’s crazy to think we are into a new year and new decade, it feels like 2019 was only a few months ago, not a whole year ago. I always say it, but each year seems to go quicker than the one previous, it’s scary how quickly the time is moving. 😮🤭
Today’s post is all about the beauty box that Shaaanxo put together in collaboration with Cosmetips for Christmas 2019. YouTuber and entrepreneur Shaaanxo collaborated with Cosmetips to release a limited-edition beauty box which included a full-sized Natasha Denona Sunset eyeshadow palette, along with five other full-sized items. Shannon has a full video on her YouTube channel here where she talks about the box, each product inside, why she chose the products she did etc.

The Sunset palette is one I have been lusting after for years, but it is so expensive that I never purchased it because I just couldn’t bring myself to splash out £100+ on a single eye palette. I just couldn’t do it. So when Shaaanxo announced on her Instagram and YouTube that she had created a box including a full-sized Sunset palette, I knew this box would be one I would want. And Santa very kindly left it under my tree this Xmas.
- Danish Skin Care Perfect Skin Power Treat
- Face Halo
- GlamGlow Glowsetter Makeup Setting Spray
- Lilly Lashes ‘Opulence’ Lashes
- Natasha Denona Sunset Palette
- Tatcha Dewy Skin Cream
I must admit, I was quite surprised that Shannon didn’t include any of XO Beauty products, given that she owns the brand. I thought there may have been at least one XO Beauty item, especially given that XO Beauty isn’t easily available in Ireland or the UK, I thought by including at least one item. It would have allowed a wider audience to try her makeup or brushes without having to order specifically from XO Beauty and end up potentially incurring customs fees.
I have to say I *adore* the packaging. I think the outisde of the box is beautiful. A gorgeous shimmering pink with gold detailing. It really adds a touch of luxury to it. The box itself is good quality (for a box anyway…) and it’s one I’ll definiely be keeping, mainly because I just love the colour and the detailing on it.
This box isn’t cheap at £110, but then, given the luxury brands that are included, I wouldn’t expect it to be cheaper than it is. The Natasha Denona palette alone costs £111, so it’s basically like buying the palette and getting everything else for free. This box is seriously amazing value. I mean, for one pound less you can quite literally get the palette and everything else with it. It’s crazy good value. It’s one of the best value boxes I’ve seen or heard off, even if it is £110.

It’s not often I have an interest in boxes like this because a lot of the time I find there are a few products that I have little to no interest in, but this is one I know I’ll get use from each and every product.
This box is limited-edition, so if you want to get your hands on it, I suggest ordering quickly, because once it’s sold out, it won’t be restocked. You can order this box from Cosmetips.com for £110 plus postage, postage depends on where you live. For postage to Ireland it was £19.30, however delivery to the UK is only £3.86, so there is a big difference. I used Parcel Wizard to get my box, so I only paid the £3.86 postage plus the fee of €3.85 for Parcel Wizard.
I can’t review the products yet as I haven’t tested them obviously, but once I do start using them, I will of course review them for you. If you are interested in the Sunset palette, Siobhán from Beautylymin has a full review on it here and reviews of other Natasha Denona palettes can be found here and a brand focus post on Natasha Denona can be found here. I would highly recommend checking out Siobhán’s blog for reviews if you haven’t already.
