Bobbi Brown Pot Rouge for cheeks and lips are some of my favourite makeup products to use for adding a nice flush of colour and a dewiness to your skin. Cream blushes are great to use if you have if you want to add a glow or dewiness to your skin, particularly if you have dry skin, which I do. While I love a matte blush too, something with a sheen or something that adds a glow or dewiness looks better on my skin.
Now with the summer approaching and the sunnier, warmer weather, I love a dewy base and these Pot Rouge blushes by Bobbi Brown are go-to products for me this time of the year. They are absolutely beautiful. They are creamy, pigmented, blend easily, don’t disturb any products underneath, they last well and they add a beautiful dewiness to my skin. I adore them.
I have two shades, Pale Pink (permanent) and Pretty Powerful (limited edition). Pale Pink is just that, a pale pink shade and Pretty Powerful is a lovely light coral shade. Both are extremely pigmented so a light hand is needed. They apply beautifully and blend out seamlessly without disrupting any products underneath.

I sometimes like to add a powder blush over top so it’s pops a little more, or if I don’t want a fully dewy base. My particular favourite is Pale Pink topped with NARS Orgasm blush. Together they make a beautiful pink combination that give a lovely dewiness and sheen. Because Orgasm has a gold sheen running through it, that goldenness just pops when swept over the cream blush.
My favourite way to use these is to lightly dab my finger into them, then press it onto my cheek and blend out with my fingers or a BeautyBlender. You could use a brush, but those are my preferred methods.
They have a very creamy formula. They are not at all dry or even slightly dry, they spread easily so when you apply them to your face, apply a small amount at first and then blend out. They will spread far though so if you like to blend them backwards, apply a tiny amount at a time. You won’t need much at all.

I love the packaging. They come in sleek, thin compacts that are plain black with the Bobbi Brown name/logo on the front. I like that there is a decent sized mirror in the lid of the compact. It’s obviously not huge, but it’s still handy to have.
They do add a nice flush of colour to the lips. I like to use a lipliner all over and then press these into the centre of my lips. They add a nice flush of colour, they’re creamy and they wear well.
They come in a range of shades and they are £22.50 / €28 / $33 (USD) so they’re not too expensive, plus because you only need a small amount of product per application, they will last a while too. If you like creamy products, and like products that can add a nice dewiness to the skin, I would highly recommend checking these particular blushes out. You won’t be disappointed.
