Hey guys, I have another empties for you today. I’ve flown through pretty much everything I had and even some new products I bought. I seem to be going through them much quicker than normal lol. I hope you enjoy this post, there’s quite a few products included, but as always, I don’t have photos of everything because if I did, the post would be twice as long, haha! Some of these products I’ve finished ages ago and have spoken about on my Instagram, any posts on IG about each product, I will link at the end of each review.
Apvita Bilberry Face Scrub — This was a lovely and very gentle face scrub; it was lovely to use. It wasn’t harsh or stripping and my skin didn’t feel tight, dry or uncomfortable afterwards. Would I repurchase? No, only because I’m leaning more towards liquid exfoliators rather than physical ones these days, but if I still had a preference for physical exfoliators, I would consider repurchasing this for sure.
Bioderma Sensibio H2O micellar Water — This is the best micellar water (that I have tried). It’s very gentle, but very effective at removing makeup. It’s nice to use in the morning, but also before going in with a face wash or other cleanser. I probably wouldn’t repurchase only because I prefer balm and oil cleansers personally, but if I got it in a GWP or set, I’d use it.
Boscia Sake Brightening Bio-Cellulose Eye Masks — I’ve had these for ages, and kept putting the last pair aside instead of using them as I just wasn’t a fan of them to be honest. They are saturated in product and because of that, they slip and slide and don’t stay in place. I’ve never noticed any difference in my under-eye area after using these, it never felt in any way hydrated or moisturised or anything. I got them very cheaply from Sephora a long time ago, and they were worth a try, but I wouldn’t repurchase them.
CeraVe Moisturising Cream — This is a fantastic body moisturiser, it is extremely moisturising and soothing, but not greasy. It has a lovely consistency, it’s not too thick or too thin, it absorbs quickly and doesn’t leave my skin sticky or greasy. It’s not scented, but I don’t mind that because of how well it works, but if you like scented products, this probably won’t be for you. It’s not fancy or luxurious, but it’s very effective and affordable. A definite repurchase!
Clinique Dramatically Different Hydrating Jelly — This was absolutely beautiful. While using it, I didn’t think it was doing a whole lot for my skin, but not long after I finished it, I could tell it was missing from my routine, and my skin was missing it. It’s very lightweight, it’s not sticky or tacky, it layers well with other products and it doesn’t pill. I haven’t repurchased yet as I am using another hydrating jelly currently, but I may well repurchase this in future, I just want to see how well the other one will work for me long-term, but I highly recommend this.
CoverGirl Ready, Set, Gorgeous Foundation — Finally, I finished a foundation! Hallelujah! 😂 It’s been a long time since I’ve finished a full-size foundation, and boy am I glad! I loved this, it’s gorgeous. It’s cheap as chips and works well. As much as I loved it, I don’t know that I would repurchase, just because I have others that I prefer and this is only available from the US and I don’t really shop online there as much anymore, but if I was, and was in need of a new foundation, I’d certainly consider it!
Dove Pro Age Body Wash — This is a lovely body butter. It’s thick, but not sticky or greasy, it absorbs quickly and leaves my skin feeling moisturised. It smells lovely and a tub lasts ages. It’s around €10, but I often see it in Dealz for €1.49, which is quite a bit cheaper than other places, so definitely shop around before splashing out €10 on it, because you’ll more than likely find it cheaper.
Dove Pro Age Body Wash — This is a gorgeous creamy body wash that works wonders for my dry skin. It’s gentle, smells really lovely, lathers up nicely, cleanses my skin without stripping it and doesn’t leave any residue in the bath/shower. It’s around €5 so it’s not too expensive and is often on offer in Boots, too.
Drunk Elephant B-Hydra Intensive Hydration Serum — This for me, did nothing. I didn’t notice any difference to my skin with this and I did use it for almost two months. Pretty much everything I have tried from D.E has been a fail for me and left me wondering how their products get such hype!
La Roche-Posay Anthelios XL SPF 50+ — This is a gorgeous lightweight SPF, that is not sticky, greasy and feels really nice on, it feels just like a lightweight moisturiser. I only had a sample but I liked it enough that I would buy a full size in future.
La Roche-Posay Hydreane Legre Moisturiser — I’ve only just finished this but I had to include it because it is a fabulous moisturiser. It’s incredibly lightweight, it is one of the lightest moisturisers I’ve ever used but it gives my skin so much moisturisation, much more than I ever expected it to. It layered well with every product, it never pilled, never made my skin look or feel greasy and even come the end of the day when I was doing my night time routine, my skin felt incredibly moisturised with this. It has a gorgeous scent, but it’s not strong or overpowering, and it didn’t cause any reaction.
There were two mornings where I was in a rush and just used this (and my eye cream) as I hadn’t time to do my usual routine and my skin was still extremely moisturised from it, obviously not as much as when I used my other products, but still, there wasn’t a huge difference (that I could feel anyway) in terms of moisturisation on my skin. A very gentle moisturiser, but one that is extremely effective. A sad empty but a definite repurchase.
Lacura Intensive Hand Cream with Glycerin — This is one of the best hand creams I’ve used. It is incredibly moisturising and softening. It’s very thick, and on it’s own, it can be greasy, so my preference was to mix a small bit with Aqueous cream and the two together made a fabulous combination. If you’ve ever tried the Neutrogena Norweigan Formula hand cream, this is similar, but thicker and better. It was less than €1 and lasted ages. Highly recommend and as soon as I can get to Aldi, I’ll be repurchasing it myself for sure.
No7 Radiant Results Nourishing Cleansing Balm — My favourite cleansing balm! I absolutely adore this, I am using my back-up at the moment, but I will definitely be repurchasing this for sure! It is extremely gentle but so effective at breaking down all makeup for easy (and quick) removal. I take a small amount and massage it into my skin, then with a soft wash cloth I removed everything before going in with a second cleanser.
Nuxe Rêve de Miel Lip Balm — My ultimate lip balm! I’ve gone through so many of these and always repurchase! It is, without any doubt, the best lip balm, in my opinion! I absolutely adore it. It’s thick but melts down when applied to your lips, the warmth of your fingers and lips melts it down so it’s not thick on your lips, and it’s not at all sticky, tacky, gloopy or uncomfortable. It feels lovely, and has a gorgeous scent, too. At night I apply a liberal amount, and in the morning, I can still feel it on my lips. Cheap as chips and works wonders, highly recommend!
Omorovicza Deep Cleansing Mask — This was okay, I didn’t find it to do much for my skin. It felt nice, smelled nice and wasn’t stripping or drying on my skin, but it just didn’t seem to do much for my skin personally. I wouldn’t purchase a full size of this.
Omorovicza Ultramoor Mud Mask — I used a sample of this before and said in a previous empties post that I wasn’t a fan of it, and this time I used a travel size, and I am still not a fan of it. I like it more now than I did the previous time I used it, but I don’t find it to do anything for my skin at all. My skin doesn’t look brighter, feel smoother or even look any better or any different. I much prefer Supermud by GlamGlow, that is my all-time favourite mud mask. I wouldn’t purchase a full size of this.
Oskia Renaissance Mask — One of my favourite masks! This gives my skin instant brightness and glow! I love it! It’s so gentle, but so effective, it has a beautiful scent, and is perfect to use before make-up, or an event. If you want a bright, radiant, healthy, glowy skin but with little effort, this is a mask you need! It’s expensive, but so worth it. I will repurchase it, but I have some smaller ones to use up first, and when they are used, I will repurchase the full size for sure!
Sephora Collection Sleeping Mask Coconut Water — This is a fabuous wee mask, it was so cheap (I think $1 or something) and I wasn’t expecting much from it, but my gosh it worked well at moisturising my skin. It’s a very thick gel mask, and I got five uses from it. I loved using it at night, but also in the morning especially if I was going out to an appointment, as make-up applied beautifully over it, and looked really radiant and healthy. Highly recommend.
Soap & Glory Flake Away Body Scrub — My favourite body scrub! I’ve used this for years, it’s probably my most repurchased body scrub, I just adore it. It’s perfect for removing fake tan, and makes little work of it. It smells divine and my skin feels so nice after it. It doesn’t leave a film on my skin or in the shower either, so no greasy reside to contend with. Super cheap, regularly on offer and works well. I’ve already repurchased.
Tatcha The Water Cream — This is a lovely moisturiser, but for me, it’s not enough for my skin. I needed to layer it with either another moisturiser or else a mask for added moisturisation. It’s very light, you barely notice it on your skin, it doesn’t really have a scent. I had a mini to use, but I don’t think I would repurchase in future just because I need more hydration and moisturisation than this gives me personally.
Scottish Fine Soaps Company Sea Kelp Body Butter — This is a gorgeous cream and despite the name, it’s not a buttery consistency in my opinion. It’s a slight bit thicker than the CeraVe Moisturising Body Cream, but not this enough to be a butter. It has an absolutely gorgeous scent, its lightweight and absorbs quickly without leaving any sticky feeling on my skin. I picked this up in TK Maxx for around €3 and when they re-open, I’ll be in to repurchase it for sure!
That rounds up this empties post, I have a few more to do though, I’ve flown through so many products, I can’t quite believe it haha! I hope you enjoyed reading, until next time, take care xx
