Recently I was sent these two items by FM By Lor and I have been using them for the past few weeks and I am really impressed with them and I want to share my full thoughts on them with you today. I did post about these on my Instagram recently in this post.
I was sent the fragrance in #20, which is meant to be like Viktor and Rolf Flowerbomb and the Perfumed Body Spray in #900, which is meant to be like Tom Ford Lost Cherry. I have never smelled Tom Ford’s Lost Cherry, so I can’t compare the two or say how alike each scent is.
Flowerbomb I have smelled, and have had samples of, and its one fragrance I’m not a fan of because it’s quite a sickly-sweet scent and I’m not really a fan of sweet scents. They don’t suit me and even on other people, I find they are overpowering.
That said, I don’t find #20 to be much like Flowerbomb. For a start, it’s not a sickly-sweet scent and it’s not at all overpowering. The scent reminds me of Chanel Coco Mademoiselle, now to be clear, it’s different to Coco Mademoiselle but the scent of #20 just reminds me of Coco Mademoiselle. It is a gorgeous scent and it’s one I have been loving.
The Perfumed Body Spray is gorgeous. As I said above, I have never smelled Lost Cherry, but this has given me a hankering to, when shops are open and there are testers I’d love to smell it, just to see how alike #900 is to it. It’s a gorgeous scent with nice depth to it. It’s quite different from anything I’ve smelled, own or worn before.
These fragrances claim to last up to six hours and the body perfume sprays don’t have a wear time estimate, however on me, they last a good 4-5 hours. They are nicely scented but they are not strong or overpowering, which I like. I don’t want to feel like they are catching me in the back of my throat throughout the day.
I personally find 1-2 spritzes of the perfume is enough for me and a small amount of the Perfumed Body Spray is also enough. I personally don’t like to completely douse myself in perfume or perfumed products as it can be overpowering.
There are two versions of the Pure Fragrance available, one which contains 20% parfum oil and claims to last for up to six hours and an intense version, which contains 30% parfum oil and claims to last for up to 8 hours. The Perfumed Body Sprays are €15.50 for 150ml and the Pure Fragrances are priced at €19.50 for 50ml. The intense version of the Pure Fragrances which are priced at €23.50 for 50ml.
There are a huge range of scents available. Not only are there perfumes, there are body lotions and washes, candles, diffusers and much more. You can see Lor’s Catalogue here for the full range and pricelist.
