Earlier this year Clarins launched their Spring/Summer 2018 collection which included SOS primers, tinted lip oils, bronzer compact and a 4-colour pen for lips and eyes.
Although each of the products in this collection looked and sounded gorgeous, the bronzer was the only item I picked up.
I used to use an older Clarins bronzer duo however it was discontinued as I have not been able to find it in years, hence why I switched to L’Oréal and stuck with it.
I often struggle to find bronzers to suit my complexion, a lot of them look orange, muddy or dirty on me so I’ve stuck to my old reliable.
The older Clarins bronzer was just like the L’Oréal one, however there were two colours, a lighter and darker one. It was gorgeous, absolutely gorgeous.
I saw this Clarins one in store and figured it would be a good colour match for me and it is luckily. In the large round pan there are three shades, a light shade and two darker, warmer shades. Mixed together all three suit my pale complexion.

There is a very slight sheen from the bronzer. I don’t mind that too much as it’s not noticeable when on the skin and there are no shimmer or glitter particles so no fear of the disco ball effect.

The middle shade, although warm, actually works well as a contour colour for me too without appearing too warm or orange on me.
The scent of this is gorgeous. It smells like summer. It’s not strong or overpowering and once blended out, the scent dissipates.

The packaging is just gorgeous. It’s super cute. A big, red, plastic, but sturdy compact adorned with pink flamingos and palm trees.
There are palm trees and a flamingo embossed on the bronzer itself, which only adds to it’s cuteness. It makes me not want to put a brush through it for fear of ruining the lovely embossing.

This is €47.00 / £32.00, which is expensive for a bronzer I think, although this particular bronzer is huge so it should last a while.
The L’Oréal Glam Bronze Duo which costs’ a mere €13.00 on Feel Unique in comparison to €47.00.
This is a product that I love and use regularly. I would definitely recommend it. It’s not an absolute necessity, but if you’re on the hunt for a new bronzer, it’s one to check out.
This can be purchased from Debenhams.ie, Debenhams.com, Feel Unique and The Loop Duty Free.
Until next time, take care xx
